What this funding path is

About the Assistive Devices Program (ADP)

The Assistive Devices Program is an Ontario Ministry of Health program that provides funding toward the cost of certain medical devices and supplies — including compression garments — for people who have a long-term physical disability or condition.

As a registered ADP vendor, our clinic is authorised to complete assessments, provide prescribed garments, and submit applications to the Ministry on behalf of eligible patients. ADP covers a portion of the approved cost. Any remaining balance is the patient's responsibility and will be communicated clearly before any garment is ordered

Who this page is for?

  • Ontario residents with a valid Ontario Health Card (OHIP)
  • People with a diagnosis of lymphedema or another qualifying condition
  • Patients whose specialist (first time) or physician or nurse practitioner is willing to provide a signed ADP prescription
  • People who have not already received ADP funding for the same garment category in the current funding period
  • Caregivers or family members arranging care on behalf of an eligible person

Final eligibility is determined by the Ontario Ministry of Health — not by our clinic.
