Lymphedema Relief Stories
Full testimonial — Randy's Story (as published by the LAO)
"This was exactly my experience. I have been fortunate enough to deal with Vignesh at the Trenton Massage and Lymphedema Clinic. The funding from the Compassion Fund enabled me to have regular massages for three months with Vignesh to relieve the swelling in my legs. I also learned self-care techniques to enable me to be self-reliant as this is a life-long condition which requires attention in order to maintain good health. As this is an ongoing health concern, the Garment Fund has been a wonderful resource to enable me to receive high quality, expertly fitted lymphedema support garments. Once again, Vignesh was able to provide the professional services of measuring my legs and completing the necessary documentation which must be done properly and carefully. Thanks to the support I have received from both of these funds offered through the LAO the lymphedema in my legs is under control. I can continue to perform the self-massages I was taught and I have quality garments to ensure continued support and proper pressure maintenance on my legs." — Randy
