Non-Insured Health Benefits is a federal program administered by Indigenous Services Canada. It provides coverage for a range of health benefits — including certain compression garments — for eligible First Nations individuals registered under the Indian Act and recognized Inuit individuals. As a registered NIHB provider, our clinic submits prior approval requests to Indigenous Services Canada before any garment is ordered. We bill NIHB directly where coverage is confirmed. Any items or amounts not covered will be communicated clearly before we proceed.
